Untouchable

When we met
There was something about you
I couldn’t understand
Why I was feeling this way
As time went on
The attraction became stronger
Laughing together
Flirting with each other
To world just seemed
To stay still
As the days went on
Thoughts of you filled my head
Then the time came
When my dreams were shattered
Someone else has your heart
And I never mattered
We still talk
And we still laugh
We go on walks
We have our plans
I enjoy this time
Because it’s with you
But my heart aches
Because I can’t have you
So I sit and smile
There with “glee”
And I wait for the moment
When you are no longer untouchable

Oh the "oh you have a girlfriend?" thing really sucks...lol

The lights in your face
The sweat on your brow
It all will embrace

Hours and hours
Trails of tears
It’s like you’re on a tower
And height is your fear

What a scare

Every pound
Every imperfection
Is what is found
In this reflection

Each time I look
Makes me cry
Why can’t this monster
Just go and die

Tarnished Angel

Always proper
Always nice
Always following
What everyone thinks is right

She fits the mold
Everyone can see
She has a hold
Of what she needs to be

She wants out
But she can’t tell
Cause everyone will pout
And send her to hell

Finally she sees
Some sort of escape
She takes the “cheese”
And crosses the “tape”
The outside wasn’t as she thought
She wasn’t impressed
Just glad she wasn’t caught
Cause of all the stress

Her charming prince
Turned out to be an ass
And because of that night
This diamond turned to brass

That delicate flower
From before
It is now gone
It is no more

She sees the light
She’s had her cry
But this tarnished angel
Has to live with this lie
