The rose is a symbol of love
For all the world to see
To show someone you care for them
Or just fill them up with glee
The rose is a symbol of youth
All you have to do is look
The rose gives you something
You won’t find in a book
The rose is a part of the people
Each and every one
It is a part of me
As well as a part of you
Each day a new rose is born
Looking bright and new
